In keeping with the “Spirit” and purpose of the Independence Day celebration, the theme for your celebration this year is “Today’s Youth, America’s Future,” celebrating the future contributions of today’s youth to our nation.

Your Independence Day celebration, as it has in the past, will include:

7:30 AM to 11:00 AM Pancake Breakfast (Webb Park)

Antique Motor Show (Webb Park)

9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Community Festival (Webb Park)

10:00 AM National Anthem (Webb Park)

10:45 to 11:30 AM Memorial Service (RB Veterans Memorial, Webb Park)

TIME TBA RB Idol Finalist Contest (Webb Park)

1:00 PM to 3:00 PM VIP Reception for VIPs and Freedom Club Members (Remington Club)

3:30 PM to 5:00 PM Independence Day Parade (Bernardo Center Dr.)

6:30 PM to 9:30 PM Evening entertainment and Fireworks (RB High School). Gates open at 6:00 PM, entertainment commences at 7:00 PM, Fireworks commence at 9:00 PM

Your Spirit of the Fourth Committee is still accepting applications for parade floats and entries, vendors for the Festival in the Park, and our auto show. We also need convertibles for VIPs and other guests for the parade. If you would like either to drive your car or enter it in the parade, please contact us. Finally, as always, we are still seeking donations and sponsorships.

You will receive the Annual Spirit of the Fourth Program approximately ten days prior to the event in the RB News Journal. Please look for your copy and plan to patronize your Independence Day patriotic and generous celebration sponsors.  We look forward to seeing you on Independence Day and celebrating the anniversary of the birth of our great nation with you.

Your 2011 Freedom Club Membership will include all of the following:
