4th of July Activities

The Spirit of the Fourth Independence Day celebration in Rancho Bernardo will occur on Monday, July 4th, 2011.

Kick Off Event on July 3rd

Kick Off on July 3rd wtih the Freedom Club Concert

Join us on Sunday, July 3rd, at Webb Park for dinner at 6:00 p.m. and a free concert by the US Marines Recruit Depot Band at 6:30 p.m. Bring your blanket and picnic for this pre-Independence Day celebration. Dinner and beverages will be available for purchase on site. Reserved seating is available for Freedom Club members. Sponsored by the Rancho Bernardo Community Foundation and California Assemblymember Nathan Fletcher.

9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. – Community Fair featuring the Art Walk, games and activities for the kids, food, ice cream, soft drinks, candy, and many exhibitors Courtyard by Marriott offers wine, beer, and mixed drinks, and will host a quilt exhibit.

Join us for the 45th annual Rancho Bernardo Spirit of the Fourth parade. This year’s Grand Marshal is Dr. John Collins, Poway Unified School District’s Superintendent.

    Fireworks & Evening Entertainment

Please come join us for our Fireworks and Evening Entertainment at the Bernardo Heights Middle School! Suggested Donation - $20 per family/$5 per individual
6:00 p.m. – Gates open
6:30 p.m. – Evening Entertainment with the Eve Selis Band (Set 1)
7:30 p.m. – 2011 RB Idol Winners Perform & Presentation of the Winning Patriotic Essay Contest Entries
8:00 p.m. – Evening Entertainment with the Eve Selis Band (Set 2)
9:00 p.m. – Fireworks Bernardo Heights Middle School

COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT

Please bring NON-PERISHABLE FOOD ITEMS to the Community Service Project Booth to benefit the  INTERFAITH COMMUNITY SERVICES FOOD PANTRY.

Please bring SCHOOL SUPPLIES to the Spirit of the Fourth Booth at the Community Fair to benefit Poway Unified School District students.
