The Spirit of the Fourth Independence Day celebration in Rancho Bernardo will occur on Friday, July 4th, 2008.

Independence Day Celebration Events
  • 7:30 am - 3:00 pm – Community Fair at Webb Park
  • 9:00 pm - 2:30 pm – Wheels of Freedom Motor Show (See note below)
  • 10:45 am - 11:30 am – Memorial Service at the RB Veterans’ Memorial in Webb Park
  • 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm – VIP Reception at San Diego National Bank (By Invitation only)
  • 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm – Independence Day Parade
  • 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm – Entertainment & Fireworks at Bernardo Heights Middle School

Community Fair Events (7:30 am - 3:00 pm)
  • 7:30 am - 11:00 pm – Pancake Breakfast in Webb Parl
  • 9:00 am - 3:00 pm - Vendor, Artist, and Craft Booths
  • 9:00 am - 3:00 pm - Hors d'oeurves & drinks avaiable at the Courtyard Marriott
  • 9:40am - 10:45 am & 11:40 am - 1:30 pm - On-Stage Entertainment
  • 10:00 am - 3:00 pm: Childrens' Entertainment (Games, Clowns, Facepainting)
On-Stage Entertainment. Scott Schroeder will serve as master of ceremonies for the entertainment.

RB Idol Contest:
      The Spirit of the 4th Committee is looking for individual acts to participate in the second annual RB Idol Competition on the stage in Webb Park on the 4th of July. The grand Prize is $500. Prizes will be given to the top 3 acts.

Motor Show
      Classic, exotic, nostalgic and custom cars and motorcycles will be on display at the annual Spirit of the Fourth Motor Show from 9:00 am - 2:30 pm in the parking lot adjacent to Webb Park at 16796 Bernardo Center Drive.
